Property tax reform divides UK regions, survey finds

A survey of 2,203 UK adults has revealed significant regional differences in attitudes towards replacing council tax and stamp duty with an annual property tax. Support was strongest in northern England and Wales at 35-37%, while opposition was highest in London and the South East at 23-28%, with 37% of respondents nationally remaining undecided.
